Hi Guys

New to the forum. Im looking at buying a 2008 Gallardo Spyder. There are 2 on Carsales atm im interested in, a yellow and white. One is located in Sydney (Autostyle) and the other in QLD ( Lamborghini QLD). Both are dealers.

Both are Performante copies. Price could be between $210 - $220k

Does this seem like a good price?

Any help is much appreciated as this would be my first G. I have owned numerous M3's and my last exotic was an 05 360 Spyder.

Thanks again

I'd go for the white one in brizzy, the auto style one just looks like a cheap ricer...
Enjoying Life!!!!

Id be looking at this one over the other yellow ricer and the white one. White spyders look incredibly plain when seen live to me. Though it seems he's not quite sure what year it is. Is the front end right for 2008?

Doesnt have those nice wheels any more. The white looks better in black and white, its just not a nice white, its way too dull.

I'm heading to Lambo Brisbane for the Huracan preview today - if you want any more pics or details of the white Spyder on the floor there I'll see what I can do.

I had a look through the faux-Performante today - it's a good looking car and the cosmetic upgrades seem to have been done to OEM standards.

It's quite well specced - quilted seats with electric control and heaters, lifter, nav etc.  The aftermarket exhausts have the thin edged tips like the Superleggera (rather than rounded chrome tips like the 'normal' cars), the rear diffuser and front bumper look like original equipment.

The bill of sale at the dealership still lists the ADV.01 wheels but it's actually fitted with black Callistas.

It's a nice car - if you're looking for a pre-LP Spyder this would be a great option.

Hey Guys apologies as I have been offline.

Many thanks for your replies.
Update so far, having an inspection done on the white spyder possibly tomorrow and if all is well will go ahead with the sale.
Can anyone recommend transportation from Brisbane to Sydney?
Also, who would be the best to insure with? I have tried Shannons.

For the transport, Alan Norton.  Lambo Brisbane used them when shipping my Balboni down to Canberra when I bought it - they were fantastic.

I would have said Shannons for insurance - aside from having competitive premiums they do seem to understand us car nuts.  They've never had any problem with any of the modifications on my cars (I just pay an additional premium in accordance with the increase in agreed value as a result of the changes) and they've even amended my Lambo policy so I can keep the signed bonnet in the event of a write-off.
