It is hard to comprehend the ability of this man unless you actually drive the courses , especially the Pelverata section where he lost both mirrors ($4k each). Few have the guts to take these cars racing in this environment , but if you're prepared to spend a bit sorting out the rather ordinary stock front suspension, apparently they go alright.

The other L car was also bitten by Pelverata; more serious for them - this is the least expensive item to fix

I'd love to know what has been done to it!

Hats off to Glenney in the RX-8 SP though to come second with only 215kw in a RWD car! True giant killer right there!

Pending footage from this year's rooftop cam , here's the nasty goat track from last year

Looked mostly like bodywork , a few bits of carbon fibre probably worth more than the RX8!

Haha that's a very sorry looking Lambo right there!

But what has been done to the white Lambo that took the win?

Jason says not much to the engine (though this year running on 10 instead of 9 cylinders  ;)); front suspension mods ~20k worth, probably different shocks and bushes or ???
White Hot Racing is his uncle's business; therein lie the Dark Secrets.
They are looking for a few more horsies before Targa Tasmania.

ha! How long have you got?

There ain't much left that hasn't been completely changed, it's hardly a glowing tribute to lambo production cars.

Winners , like top athletes , rarely do. Mechanics also have their little secrets
