Jeez - hard to go wrong with a buy now price under $20k - but I defer to the Lotii experts here...

Yes, exactly why I asked.

Not getting to excited yet, it may well even be a scam.

It's not low enough to be a scam - but it's too low to take it on face value :scratchchin:

In "good" condition (drivable, needing a few things, but nothing major) I would guess this car would be a $30-35k car.

It's fairly priced if it's an average car with that kind of mileage.
It's missing the side decals - paintjob at some time?

With the S3's, you want '85 onwards, as there were numerous issues with the previous cars. The only earlier turbo's worth considreing are the ESSEX cars - they are horn!

If you want one of them, it's better to pay $30k odd and get a mint low mileage '85 onwards S3. A few around.

Globally, all Esprits are comparatively cheap to buy.  It's the ongoing costs that can hit you for six.  But remember that this ain't no Hyundai or ricer, these were the supercars of their day.

They're all rare.  Which makes it all the more enjoyable driving around as not many people know what the heck they are.

If you want a S3, Ash and I have spoken about this one before:

If it's true to the description, it would be a great trouble free car. And $35k would get it.
