Guy doesn't know how to post pics so just google it if you don't know what it looks like.  I don't know much about the cars either - except that the brit motoring journo's rave about them when they are occasionally mentioned.  Allegedly one of two in th e country, wanted $100k for it - no idea what they're really worth.

All reasonable offers considered! Make me an offer today!..... What is it? It has the reputation of being "The World's Fastest Saloon Car" Very desirable and rare, now available in Australia! This is the car that rewrote the regulations in Europe which introduced a capped power output. Only two legitimate cars exist in Australia that are fully complied to Australian regulations. This vehicle has been serviced by John Reece who has many years experience with the Lotus marque as well as race crew experience internationally both in Australia, Germany and USA as well as Australia. This car was brought into the country as Lotus Cars Australia's directors personal vehicle and is the first time the car has been offered to the public. It is a chargecooled straight 6 cylinder with Twin Garrett T25 Turbos and has a aftermarket turbo timer, it has a 6 speed ZF gearbox, Self Levelling Suspension of which Lotus is renowned. The car was designed in the days when Lotus was owned by GM and was built as a statement hence it was the flagship of the Lotus/Vauxhall range. Please note it is a 3.6 Ltr vehicle.
*Note the vehicle is not currently registered! The duco on some of the fibreglass/plastic parts is experiencing clearcoat peel which is detracting from it's appearance and can be easily rectified in a reputable bodyshop. I can arrange this if so desired. I would say the cause of this is the fact that I have not been able to garage the car and the heat of summer is taking it's toll. Also somebone has souvinered the bonnet badge. I also have the workshop manual and tech 1 including the diagnostic cartridge should you be interested in purchasing them.

imho, looks like a Saab of some sort. Just my thoughts though, it doesn't look very "Lotusish" to me. :scratchchin:

No - it's little more than a taxi from the looks hence why I didn't bother to post pics, but it was a revolutionary car at the time and I'm sure some of the folk here had a passing interest in them.

I had a go in one when they were new.

it arrived at Brands Hatch in a haze of fuss and glory...

which quickly turned to panic as it spewed it's entire fuel tank contents on the ground in pit lane after its first session...

But apart from that, it WAS fast..

just shit.
