I'll take the next spot if you don't want it mate and no-one else who's added value to the thread is keen

OK, cool!!

Yeah I can compile a list from all of this, but just how serious are we getting here?

As I said, let me know what it is worth in regards to a reimbursement, etc, etc.

Still keen to have it looked at and some of Andecorp's questions answered.

Email the details you've got so far and Al and I will coordinate something to check it out.

important points to check.  For starters...

- Has the exhaust manifold been replaced  (will last around 40-60k miles)

- Is there oil pooling in the spark plug wells.  Which relates to: Are there occassional puffs of smoke  coming thru the vents after a drive.

- Have the clutch lines been replaced (easy to tell as they were originally red pvc tubing running front ot rear). Usually replaced with S/S lines.

- Front cooling fans will kick in at about 98 deg on the temp dial.

- Check headlight motors for sticking.

- Original exhaust, or aftermarket and is the CAT still in place.  Sometimes the cat is removed when a new exhaust is put on.

- Check service history.

Looks as though its been left out side excessively, which could mean that some water could have leaked thru the rear windows in the fuel tank area, which basically means rusty fuel tanks.  Check just behind the doors under the car for any signs of fuel  smells.  Should be no smell at all.  Rusty tanks = engine out.  If there is fuel smell in the cabin whilst driving this can either be the (damaged) rubber seal over the gear stick which is hidden, or most probably cracked PVC equaliser tube running between both fuel tanks. Easy to replace.

Hi all,
I introduced myself in a previous thread.
Am looking into purchacing a Esprit however this one is a month or two to early for me.

In saying that though a quick REVS check reveals the following:

Vehicle Enquiry Results
Registration Number:  TMG010     Request Id:  107272261
Registration State:  NSW    Date:  11.02.2009
VIN/Chassis:  SCC082910SHA64043    Time:  21:47
Engine Number:  LN910950328884T

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THERE ARE FINANCIAL INTERESTS RECORDED AGAINST THE SUPPLIED VEHICLE
IDENTIFIERS
VEHICLE DETAILS MATCHED WITH RTA

I know most of you would undertake this check but just thought i'd remind you all before getting caught up in the hype.

Cheers,
Ben

All will be revealed soon.   ;)

Anything to be revealed yet??
Is this car still for sale and would the people who have had a look at it like to disclose what they thought of the car?

Cheers
