Thanks for the feedback all - it's been a long time since I used the keyboard for anything but coding and copy/pasting news articles, was good to let the fingers run free.

Top notch write-up Ash!  Some of your metaphors almost gave me a stiffy.

Ah - the bit about squealing like a pig got to ya! :D

Great stuff Ash!!! So when are you getting one? :)

Yeah well - still lamenting the effects of a pay cut sooo be a while yet, domestic beer, cask wine, and Foodland steaks are order of the day.

And I'd just like to add that the fear-of-vertigo look on your face when you climbed (up) into my 4WD after dropping off the red rocket was priceless. :teehee:

Ahhh haha yeah

Driving around the carpark in that thing I felt like I was in an inflatable donut floating around the ocean.

Wine is fine by mine.

it's a rotten job, but Ash's just gotta do it ...

Reminds me of when I brought my *brand new* Boxster S in 2002. I promptly drove from Adelaide to Melbourne via Mt Isa (literally) picking my brother up in Sydney for the return. I did 10,258km in the first two weeks of owning the little stuttgart stormer (OK, it was made in Finland, but you get my gist). We did that very same Cann River segment, highly recommended roads.

Nice work, if you can get it.

Top effort Ash, and very considerate gesture from Jamezilla

All I can say Ash... is, if only you'd had Ferrari 12 cylinder (proper one with gear stick and clutch pedal).... 512TR ideally, but a 550 Maranello would also be great... more comfy to sleep in too!
