Went to my first Lotus "club" catch up yesterday - 21 of the damn things!

Went to Meadows Bakery via... well - everywhere. Not sure what navigation system the leader was using, I think he just wanted to test out our turning circles every ten minutes.









I don't eat much pie nowadays, lucky that this one was quite good.

I used to go every month but havent for probably 2 years now

Seems bigger than it used to be, the only 2 cars I recognise are the white exige, which back then was owned by a guy who also had open wheel race cars, and the red elan +2 which was rarely running so maybe hes fixed it up

the guy that always ran it was an older english guy with long white hair driving a purple Lotus 7, I dont see him in any of your photos

I must admit, I stopped going because I always felt as though I didnt fit in. Most of those guys were talking about making replacement parts in sheds with lathes and chastising me for not changing my own oil!

Nice line up Ash. Looks a lot like the Brisbane Lotus Club meets - we mostly get Elises and Exiges. A few interesting toys show up occasionally, like a Carlton, 340R, Exige Scura, a couple of Esprits as well as the usual sprinkling of 7s, Caterhams, Elans and Europas (old and new).
