That flip off the hoist thing is every mechanics nightmare.

I once lowered the rear engine/subframe out of a Testarossa for routine service.

Which by coincidence had absolutely NO fuel in it, some aftermarket wheels (which were very heavy) and a front boot chockers FULL of books and magazines, and the front hoist pads were a bit too far back near the sill...

it was enough to have it balancing perfectly on just two arms of the hoist! Yikes!   :scared: 

It just kinda rolled up into a see saw position... slowly... I only noticed it after who knows how long!

Close call.....

Testarossa nose dive wouldn't be a pretty thing to clean up......
