Yea I know right....ice actually never know her with anything but shot suspension.  Compression is even and close to spec so she's fast...just not great handling!  Ok next week...it's on

Got a full set of springs and shocks for $1100 from the UK.

Full adjustable.....

The set of Michelins works out to be AUD 1420 including freight from Tire rack.

This compared to $ 1336 fitted for the Falken's

indeed...........

Godzilla - add fitting $120 - and Gst, import fees of about $250 (you will be over the 1k limit at 910 USD in 1 shipment) - still definitely go the Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Cheap for the Michelins. Always cost me $3k when purchased locally.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Thanks everyone for your input.
Have now put on Michelin PS3 245/40-17 front and 285/35-18 rear. Front is 10mm wider and I believe I can detect a slight rub up front when on full lock (whenyou are parking). Ride wise it seems much more compliant. Saying that the Pirelli's that were on the Esprit were 9 years old.
Have been up the old road (Old Pacific Highway near Sydney) a couple of times and the tyres seem good.
Ended up buying them from Tyremore Hornsby for 2 x $320 fronts and 2 x $ 450 rears = $ 1540.
Anyway, thanks again for your advice and maybe see you on the Lotus Club run on Saturday.

Geez, they have dropped in price a fair bit.

No I couldn't in PS3.

Falken I could, but even the tyre guy didn't recommend them.
