Autocar just voted the Evora the UK's best drivers car (9 out of 10 judges voted for it).

It beat:

LP670-4 SV
Vantage V12
R8 V10
911 GT3
GT-R
Panamera

Must be pretty good.

Does a driver's car necessarily need atomic grade bhp?

No, but the Evora seems to be only just there for performance. Good for a Toyota, mind you. ;)
