Hey mate I have an 89 SE you can come check out
I'm 20mins north of Brisbane
not sure if it's as old as your wanting but if your even considering buying one you really gotta see these in person cause pics do not do them justice, I had never seen an esprit before and I took the wife too
and she was like we need to get this it looks like a ferrari!!
And I was sold too mainly for the looks vs price ratio

don't beleive everything you read bout these esprits, this has been my most reliable Turbo car and I've owned 3 toyota Supras from stock to name a few.It hasn't broken down or not started in 2 years and nothing more than a sticky window motor,a burnt window wiper wire and having to replace shock rubbers ect has gone wrong.

I'll chuck a pic up of it anyway with the old wheels, I got a set of Gold TE37's on it now

mate thanks for the offer, i may take you up on it some time even if just to have a chat :D,

however once i sell my Porsche i'll either look at something in a G body, or if i go a Stevens body i'd probably look at an S4 or V8,

The car in the photo looks like a standard turbo with se wing. It does't have the se bumper or sills.

It's registered as an SE somehow but I had the same talk with owner when I bought it questioning if its actually an SE but whateva it is other than outside looks the engine is similar as it's intercooled and PUK chipped which I believe were the reason for extra power

Your avatar shows custom engine mods. No standard SE chargecooler there. By not having the SE bumper, the car is missing essential cooling ducts.

Easy to figure out with the vin/engine number.

You mean Cooling ducts for the chargecooler radiator? It does not need those ducts as it has a custom twin air to air intercooler setup which I did before increasing power, radiator and oil cooler have also been upgraded too avoid overheating of any kind,I will have to check my VIN cheers it's definitely an 89 but SE likely not considering the outside appearance which U pointed out, never noticed that SE's had different ones
