Ok Esprit experts, what's the story on this early model stuff?  This one has been for sale for quite a while, so is it over priced, too fragile, too expensive to maintain, or just not that desirable compared to other models?

Just curious at this stage as I've run out of space for more cars right now.  But I love almost anything designed by Giugiaro, so...

The HC is the best Giugiaro Esprit.

But, this is high mileage and import. Good reason for people to say away regardless of price, so it will take a while to sell.
Also, new chassis??

this is high mileage

But these are relatively low stressed engines aren't they?  100k is still a lot, but surely not near terminal if serviced regularly?

Major accident repair?  I can't think of any other reason for a big job like that.  Or was this the era of chassis cracking after a few kms?

The engines are very good and reliable. But that is a lot of mileage on UK roads!
Chassis' were galvanised from 1985, so no issues there.
