I saw one at some yum cha place outside KL in October

There were actually a few there but by the time I had my camera ready I could only get decent shot. Amongst the rest of the Lotus range I reckon they look pretty good

im seriously considering an esprit, but as a 2nd car
Id be a bit afraid maintenance costs would mean it could spend months off the road, and I do need at least one working car
However, as unpopular as this may be, I think id prefer the V8, just because it would be siginificantly different to my europa, I know lotus purists scoff at the idea of a V8 lotus

Mate - this is the one. I reckon a few of us hard arses could go in as a gang and get another $10k off the price - at least.   :D

Yeah that one did look a bit sad all by itself but there were a few others in the car park. For some reason a bunch of about 30 Proton and Lotus factory people arrived at the same restaurant we were at. Sunday morning, the middle of Malaysia... life works in strange ways.
