I'm in market for an Esprit and leaning towards a V8 (at the moment). From everything I have read so far this seems to be an idea that is fraught with pit-falls. However, I haven't managed to talk myself out of it yet.

Apart from carsales and this forum is there anywhere else I should be keeping an eye out for vehicles for sale?

I was also wondering if anyone had any experience with the current batch that are on carsales.

All the cars on carsales are well known. Just do a search on the forum here.

You have to be patient and wait for a good one to come up ( possibly years like I had to wait) And then having the access to the cash to act quickly when one does pop up

Putting your Feelers out here is a good starting point. As is listing a ad on somewhere like club lotus.

like I stated above, it took a long time to find our v8.

I looked at around a dozen esprits over a 12 month period before i found mine. - and that was in the uk. To buy one in oz you're going to have to travel. And yes they are a good investment, you just have to choose wisely.
