funny you say vinyl wrap, i had thought of that. i'd never re-colour any car i buy as i'd want to keep it as original as possible. your car isnt completely off the wish list just yet

Why not recolour?

3 reasons really, firstly it would take a real lot of effort time and $$$ to recolour everything that can be seen, ie engine bay etc. secondly keeping the original colour of the car generally means better value long term. lastly, i'd want to show the car and an original car generally gives better scores

In the big scheme of things a full respray top to bottom is probably a 10K spend. It's big, but you'd have something perfect and with a better finish than factory.

If you're keeping it long term - then it's probably a neither here nor there in terms of actual value - buying a Europa for collectibility is a bit ambitious regardless.

In terms of showing it... again if the job is a good one then you'll pick up more points than you'll lose..
C'mon, do it!
