Had a talk to the local DuPont guys today and got some samples mixed up.
At least the colour was not rare enough to be lost over the ages, they had all the info in their system to mix and match.
It also turns out the Kia has stolen the colour but I don't think I have ever seen one in this colour before. Must not be a option for Aussie Kia's.

It turned out to be a 3 layer pearl after all.

Anyhoo, is going to be fun and games, I can see a full respray coming up.

Andecorp, maybe a little while before she gets to try out your new hoist.  :waah:

Of course!

I knew I'd seen that yellow recently somewhere else...

Cool.   Now if his user name is the year and colour of the S4s then it could be the:

nautilus blue

I know that car well. The previous owner just lost on buying my black S4s as the guy that bought it just offered more $. Then I helped him buy this Nautilus car (I knew it's full history) and Francois rebuilt it as it was neglected. Then he ended up selling it to the current owner (who was also interested in the black S4s) who is a really nice guy - met him a couple of times.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Hey... thats me.

Time to introduce myself.
I wanted a car with presence, performance and prestige at an affordable price. Narrowed it down to Esprit Sport 300 or S4s.

Quickly joined as many online Esprit groups as possible. Met up with Lotus WA group recently who put me in contact with owner of a Blue S4s. Turns out he is a friend of a friend (Perth is a small community). Esprit S4s bought last weekend.

Can confirm the colour is B42 Midnight Blue Metallic. VIN:THA64155. Australian delivered. Originated in QLD. Has been in Perth for about half its life.

Seems in really good condition.
Then I helped him buy this Nautilus car (I knew it's full history) and Francois rebuilt it as it was neglected.
Would love to know more about its previous history.

BTW, I just got word that my Dash face is on the way. I must say that Bell & Colvill have been outstanding in arranging the parts from Lotus and postage. And they have not charged any extra for the service. A 600+ item for a little over $200 here.

And my gauges should be here any day as well.

Also, some of their prices they have given me over the last few days are somewhat better than what SJ's has quoted????
