I think the sadest thing is that at that price they will likely not sell very many.

all that means is that if Lotus cant sell many, they wont make much money, and therefore cannot keep building the types of cars we would all love to see (new esprit anyone?)

i just hope they havnt taken the wrong path and end up becoming a distant memory

The pricing problem is only in Aust (suprise, surprise!). In the rest of the world, the cars are priced very competitively - $140k fully loaded equivalent in Aust market.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Both high maintenance compared to 360 or 328 IMO.

If considering Evora, I guess you're thinking low service costs, warranty etc.

I find 360's easy/cheaper to service/fix than 355 by some margin, and it's not just 'cos they're newer... it's a quality thing.

none are perfect of course, but factor in depreciation and Evora doesn't make much sense IMO.
