A friend told me about this forum so here goes. I'm looking for an original and genuine M1 Lotus Cortina.
There is a great line about these rare vehicles and it goes something like this-Of the approximatelly 3000 MK1 Lotus Cortina's produced, there are only 6000 still in existance-so I am trying to find one of the 3000.
Anyone know of one for sale......Peter Meyer. In Sydney but can travel.

Thanks for that suggestion. For anyone else, the Melbourne car is LHD and has been advertised at 55K and 65K. I don't think the value is there in LHD for a classic english car but the guy seems nice and he owns a really nice GT500 as well....Peter Meyer

Good luck with your search!  I really like Lotus-Cortinas; for me they always conjure up images of Jim Clark.

Our Road car an an interesting race car we also own

I've just joined this forum and here's two of my cars. My 911 is 1988 with 54,000 genuine k's and its beautiful. The MG midget is my son's race car and also and interesting beast with Harry Galloway suspension and twin can, cross flow fuel injected head. 180BHP. 1460cc. Very fast and in a catagory where we race all comers including MX5 turbos, its a regular race winner. Not as fast as some sports sedan MGBV8's but one of the fastest midgets going around....Peter Meyer
