Finally getting around to joining the forums

I am the owner of a 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo, 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera cab and a 1995 TVR Chimaera with some sensible cars also.

thought I would say hello, I am currently up in Darwin and have been for four years- probably heading down to Adelaide in the next couple when I get my arse into gear and decide the time is right to move.

Some obligitory photo's attached

welcome, are you from England originally or did you bring the cars over yourself?

I am originally from London, then last decade out in the wilderness on the Essex/ Suffolk border commuting to London each day.

G'day James.  I see you like to keep your old UK Reg labels.

Rather radical change (temp wise) from London to Darwin.  You might find Adelaide too cool for your liking.

Nah, Im often down in Adelaide, heading down in about 5 weeks to catch up with some friends. It makes a nice break from the heat to be honest. Not sure about actually living there but its a compromise between Australia and the UK with the missus. No competition really.

I havent got the Lotus Rego compliant yet hence the old plates still. I keep just getting a temp rego to use it for a few weeks every few months. Had a baby a few months back which slowed the process down somewhat, had to rego the 911 today also which ate into the Lotus funds.
