Noice colour.

Optional factory fitted sunroof. - I don't think so.

And what about the front end damage...

Only Ruby Red in Australia. Aust del. It was hardly used until 2003 or so when Rick Damelian's sold it for way over $100k and around 5,000km from memory. It was like new then. It doesn't look like the current owner treated it the same.
From those photos - it looks like it had a front ender - indicators the wrong way around, front lips missing. And what's with the sagging ass and raised nose?

VERY cheap car regarless. Good bargain, regardless what you find wrong with it.

As Simon said - optional sunroof? Every Esprit from '87 onwards had the removable roof.
And finest example of the S4s in Australia? Ahem... Apart from mine, I know at least 3 others that are MINT.

All the above goes out the window if this is a recent import.

Without doubt, this Lotus Esprit S4S Anniversary Coupe is the finest example of this Rare, sought after Vehicle available in Australia today

He's probably technically telling the truth, yours and the other 3 are probably not available. ;)

True - this would be the only S4s currently for sale and only the 5th one (out of 16) for sale in the last 10 years.
Most of them are still with the original owners.

And "Anniversary" ???

Good bargain though (if it hasn't been destroyed). This would be like finding a good F355 for $75k. To put it perspective, good S4s's, when they come up for sale in the UK, sell there for 60% of new price, so the equivalent here would be about $140k.

Must be an original Oz delivery due to the colour coded roof and high brake light on the wing.  There's no coloured roofs in the UK.  Due to the limited amount of sunlight over there  they try and get as much light into the cabin as possible.
