Doesn't take much to write off a car in NSW now from past experience.


A lot of repairers couldn't be arsed repairing something like this now days, it's not like the straight forward local products to repair.


Just a theory or the front has a lot more damage than can be seen.......although I would have thought the wheels may have moved a lot more if that was the case.

Apparently the front crash structure is a bolt-on, bolt-off affair. I doubt very much that the tub itself damaged or twisted. The parts for these things are stupidly expensive. I think the front and rear clams are $10k each or more before paint and labour.

In theory it could be fixed I would have thought. But probably too expensive as you said.

Hmmm, yes forgot about that, they are a bolt on unit, couldn't imagine them being cheap.



Looks like it's been run over, the black scuff marks look a lot like tyre marks. And the RH wheel looks a little out of alignment to the LH side.



Maybe a good base for a Replica project.  :p

this repair was $38k, I tried desperately to get the insurance to write the thing off, but no go :(  all because some douche ran a red light into me :(
