:p Any Diablo would trump a Lotus (if only for looks and desirability alone)

Unless it was a stretched one with a very high horsepower motor in it from the US.

That is what I thought as well. But the VIN number they provided seems to suggest it is a factory turbo.

something just doesnt look right- aside from the missing glass on the rear boot lid.

Check out Image 13 & 14.

Who uses those photos?

And then there is this guy who is trying to prove his Lotus is a poor man's Lamborghini or Ferrari;

Then this guys randomly pops up in his own photos;

Had a nice laugh at the above sellers and found another worthy

 A wannabe SE owner claiming 17,000km in a 25YO car which already needed an interior restore, new petrol tanks and a host of other new parts ??? very suspect KM to me as esprit's aren't that brittle some owners might be taking advantage of the 5 digit speedo recount IMO ,same $40k asking price as the mint yellow s4 too your kidding me!! lol

Seems the v8's and the $24k red s5 are the only ones keeping it real oh and maybe the yellow s4 being a whopping $28k cheaper than the grey gt3

that yellow S4 seems the best Value Esprit for sale at the moment, its fantastic.

that GT3 will be that guy's until he dies, he had it down at around $52k at one stage then decided to up the price again.

I dont know about anyone else, but it will never shift until he lists it at $39,999 IMO.  I mean even in the pics you can see damaged paint on the damn thing.
