Unfortunately my car is the test car for my RAW and so they have to jump through hoops the first time, not to mentioned that it has failed 2 emissions tests with the 3rd one happening today. Fingers crossed for a positive result!

Does the 12 month rule still apply as this is the test car???

I assume the Emissions test is via the "Shed test"??

Hope they are paying you for this.....

The test is done at 1 of the 2 registered places in Victoria to do the test and it cost big bucks each test. No cost to me for this side, however I am paying for the compliance at a discounted rate.

The 12 months rule doesn't come into play, it just takes, a long, long time to make sure that everything is right.
May the Horse be with you....

This thread, as always, is becoming split stream..

We're now talking about RAWS  compliance, which requires no pre-ownership, and also PI, Which does, but the compliancing is far simpler.

I wouldn't mind betting, some kind of "raid" gets done on inadequately complied cars.

I have seen very few that have been done to the law, fully.
