Did you know, the rev limiter kicks in at 6500 in normal mode instead on 7500 when in sport mode ?

Another query of mine answered.
I was wondering what it was doing when I got up to 6500 now I know.

Did you know, the beeps you hear when you turn the car off are warning beeps that you've left it in neutral?

The handbrake is so bad the car won't let you park without being in gear !

Thanks for the link that forum looks excellent for information

WOW just had a good look through, that forum has everything you need for the Masa, I just learned a few things I didn't realise before thanks again. :)

It has almost everything for all massas but be warned that there are some things on there that are too good to be true. Just treat every post (as you should on any forum) as hear/say and not gospel.
If you need parts later on I can refer you to the guy I buy off in the UK, There is another place that only deals in ferrari/maserati parts new and used who I have heard great things from but never used myself.
Also if your not mechanically minded you'll need a good mechanic, I use a volvo specialist mainly because quite a few of the components are made by the same parts company Mille Miglia That produces for both Ferrari and maserati and most of the volvo components. 2nd of all is when I took my car to maserati sydney for a engine fault code check they scratched the paint work around the bonnet and tried to say it wasn't them, so now I refuse to take anything to them (unless i really need their help).
But for resale I recommend using a competent brand name company to get the official stamps for servicing records ect...

I guess you'd say that but the Italians have a way of doing things that make the Germans look positively easy, you need a Degree to use the controls on a Merc but the Masa is another level of ridiculous logic,
And I'm still not getting email notifications...

but its better when the controlls are hard to workout, then people feel intimidated in your car and wont
fu(k around with your settings.

Not a junk mail problem, it's with the system here, others have the same problem.

I see you're on the UK forum, I'm over the moon about that for Masas, thanks again :D

360's do the same, but i think its just better/safer to leave it in gear.
Even at a set of lights, if your foot is off the brake and left in 1st, it should drop out into nuetral and give you a long beep to tell you it has changed(if its a paddle shift).
Pretty sure its the same clutch, gearbox and electronics as the 360....have fun!!

I've noticed even some of  the switches on the dash are the same part almost.

Ok I can't ignore this any longer...

Why so excited only now when he recommended that forum to you months ago???

And why are you learning stuff from a forum that you could have learnt from your own owner's manual the day you bought the car???

And finally, do you have any other special ways of making yourself look bad in public???

Don't remember that being recommended to me months ago, must have missed it or just wasn't ready for it at that time.
The stuff I learned on the forum I didn't see in the manual, I had a good look through it.

And finally as you're wrong on all counts there I ask the same question of yourself.

Well atleast the clock in the 360 isn't the same as the massas, whats the deal with the "calculator" look in the 360 when Maserati gets this very nice looking clock, oh well a minor issue with an awesome car I guess, who needs to know time when your driving any Ferrari anyway.
