Hi all, first post, so I'm making it count :)
I'm looking for my first P car and have seen this sitting on car sales for a while now. Looks great in photos. Has anyone seen in person this or know anything about it?. I'm in Vic car in Qld. Any information would be much appreciated. Pic attached.
Cheers
J

Thats Rob's car up here in QLD, nice car form what I've seen of it.

I think that I used to own this car.

If so, it sat on the showroom floor for 2 years and I bought it with 2,000kms. It was absolutely perfect and I babied it. Sold the car with 17,000kms.

How long ago did you sell it? i know Rob has had it at least 2 years.

I believe this is disclosed in the ad Condor. Must be the same one car. Be interested to know about your time with it.  Great pic by the way.

It would have been circa 2008.

Have you considered a Turbo S? From what I can see not much price difference over the standard Turbo but it has more power and features.

I don't think you will find a better bang for your buck car then a 996 Turbo but I know they are a hard car to shift so make sure you bargain hard.

Jram - are you specifically after a coupe?  I've got a cabrio with factory hard top listed on CarSales at the moment - http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-2004/SSE-AD-406045/?Cr=0&sdmvc=1

Ours has the 18" Turbo wheels rather than the Sport Technos, and has the carbon trim on the gear lever / door pockets instead of the leather, but otherwise pretty similar spec.  Feel free to drop me a message if you want more detail.

Wow that seems very good James.  It wasn't long ago the guys with the cabrios were asking 20% more than the equivalent coupe.
