Wow that seems very good James.  It wasn't long ago the guys with the cabrios were asking 20% more than the equivalent coupe.

Thanks looney. As you noted, the market is a bit weird and there's no support for a premium on the cabrio. Interestingly most of the interest to date has been from coupe buyers who seem to want to install the hard top and pretend they didn't buy a car with a folding roof.

I have had a c2 cab and a 04 turbo coupe.

I would not hesitate in getting the cab over the coupe.
They are both heavy cars and the extra rigidity would be insignificant with the type of driving done.
I have a friend (knowen to here) that had what looks like James car (exact colour and year he sold it with about 16k km on it) and he never had an issue with it being a cab from my knowledge.

If you think you need the extra rigid chassis my advice is to get a gt3.

I also had the removable hard top for my cab, I made a remote control electric winch that lifted it up into my ceiling. It made it very easy for 1 person to put it on and off. I used it alot
