Appreciate the link there, but I have tried this path before. Ended up waiting 40 mins for someone to talk to me, before telling me I was wasting their time, but if I like they could take me out for a fee.....

I'm too young for their insurance to drive their cars.....

I've been in your shoes - ie getting dealerships to take you seriously when you're young and it does suck. Try changing your attire, don't let on where you're finances stand ( cash buyer v's finance buyer), ask some serious questions and see how you go, but on the other hand, if you're not a serious buyer -  don't waste their time.

and that dear readers is the crux of the issue..............

it would cost what? $500 to fly to nsw and test drive one.........youve been knocked back for driving one by a dealer i assume as they figured you are a gunna..........

As Brenton posted if you want one it aint that hard to do so........

Mate, you really need your head looked at.....you are the reason I hate forums so much....F**k heads like yourself.

Look at what I am saying.......In fact I will put in nice point form for you.

I am buying a 3200gt
I have loans in process for the car once re-financing is done
I plan on flying to WA to buy said car (Once loan is processed)
I will test said car, if I like it....I shall buy it!
I will ship the thing back to Brisbane where it will be going to mechanic for service
I will be driving the thing around

NOW!

I hear good things about Maserati's....I've not yet been in one.....In the meantime (While loans being done) I wanted to go for a spin with someone in Brisbane (If you're not from Brisbane I have NFI why you're commenting apart from being a pretencious stuck up turd) if they were happy for me to tag along.....If it's anything its impatience on my behalf because I want to get into a dream car of mine!

I dont know why you find issue with my comments mate! Go start your own thread where you can comment all you like and see your efforts....don't annoy me!

And I bet your one of these monkey's who sits there in a polo shirt saying "Yes I drive a Maserati...." Or BMW or what ever it is....this is how these marques get a bad name for being a posers car!

Thanks for that! Glad to see someone who has been there.

I've tried the whole trousers and business shirt thing, and got somewhere with it all....but I am essentially wasting their time.....I have no real interest in New cars.....I can't afford one so no real point!

I can however afford a 3200, and if it's anything like posts on here say, I will like it very much. A bit like my bike.....Its a little naughty and a ton of fun!

I understand that the costs in maintaining them are higher than say a holden Barina but yeah.....

This is my plan.....Im just trying to get someone to take me for a spin in a Masser before I buy one to see what im getting myself into, that's all.....I am buying this car, but until I fly over and ship the thing back Im curious to see what they are like.....

Considering it's a massa, you'll only see what you're getting in to once you have it and then the maintenance starts.

They sound awesome and are nice to drive.

As for maintenance.....that doesn't worry me too much. I just sold my old R32 golf which was costing roughly $1200 a service.....

The one in WA has the Mille Miglia exhausts on it and sounds very nice!
