A cheaper alternative,  decat the primaries then reseal the canisters.

I can't imagine custom made headers for less than $4K will be fit for purpose, but I could be wrong.  The guy might be doing the work for next to nothing for some other reason...

I priced up getting a 4-cyl non-turbo SR20 race header designed for a high compression Jap engine and Tomei cams, and that was going to cost ~$4-5k back in the 90's.  And that done properly, with tuned lengths and diameters...

I have nothing against Best Mufflers, even though my first encounter with the guy who runs it left me wondering if I'd stabbed the guy's dog in a previous life or something...  Maybe he thought I was encroaching on his business name or competing, even though he sells low end gear, and I sell top end gear.

I hope the headers turn out to be great, I'm just a little dubious with things that sound too good to be true.

Here is a video of the completed headers, I know many of you doubted this could get done, but with the Lamda sesnors in, we haven't had any CEL yet. She revs like an animal with no restriction at all. I can honestly say, i am so impressed with his work..

Above is a link to his page and you can see all the stages of the work.
