Having said that a kia rio had no probs @ 170, it just needed 3 states to reach that speed and then the brakes melted  :doh:

Hyundai Excel is more terrifying at 130 than a Lambo at 280.

Just curious, not many 3200gt owners on the forums, if you ever need a new throttle body (which you will eventually) I have a spare that I don't use.
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

as far as i see it, the maserati club is one of the less active car clubs around in Australia, the Poms are really into their Mazas over there so I joined their forums, lots of great info.

Eg: I saved myself $5000 by taking my masers Electronic throttle body to a volvo repair centre instead of to maserati. Maserati wanted $6500 for a new ETM which will end up failing again in the future because the product has a limmited lifespan just because of the way its designed. Volvo used the same throttle body but they have developed a technique to rebuild the original ETM so it will not fail anymore.

Long story short if your having engine light probs and car goes into limp mode give me a PM and i'll point you in the right direction...

I picked up a 2002 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa 6 mos ago and was enjoying a glorious drive on the Pacific Highway when the oil-pump broke and the engine seized.  After a hefty towing bill I'm now trying to find a source for rebuilts.  Any ideas?
