I was thinking the opposite, a GT Stradale is about the same as a California, used, say around $350k I was wondering why anyone would buy the Masa, you would know better but surely the Cali is a better car.

I wouldn't buy the California if it was $50k. Well maybe I would at $50k for the wife; but if I did I sure as hell wouldn't be interested in driving it.

I love the GT Stradale; but I may be biased.

Why do you say that ?

I always thought of the Cali as a 599 without a top.

Never had a close look though.

I have a problem with Ferrari prostituting their brand and it's history. The California is aimed squarely at a buyer who has NFI, typically a female who would normally drive a 500 SL.

...............and it's nothing like a 599 FWIW. Different philosophy, V12 vs V8 and a whole lot more.

I can't understand why anyone would buy a California, when the Maser cabrio is sitting across the showroom...

but they do...

It's too big. I'd take the Cali.
May the Horse be with you....
