Hi, thinking of flipping my S5 for this thing as a daily driven car.

07 Quattroporte.  I've had a gransport before which was actually pretty reliable considering how I treated it and we have a MC Stradale in the family thats behaved fairly well too, so I like the brand.  Just interested in peoples opinions on how suitable and reliable this thing is likely to be.

Thanks.

I had one for a loaner for a couple of weeks when I was between Granturismo's.
They are not as exciting to drive as the Granturismo's, don't sound as nice; but are more practical. The Sat nav and phone systems are archaic even back when new, might be a PITA now. Overall cost to run should be similar to your Granturismo; but at 7 yrs old you are going to start getting age related failures. Electronics may be problematic down the road a bit.

Yeh thanks.  Only reason im looking at an old one is that I test drove a much much newer one for 190K and it felt identical to the old one, which is literally half the price.  They didn't really do much to update the thing it seems.

I would take the older car, save the $ and put some funds aside for the likelihood of greater repair bills.
Only downside is it could be hard to offload when time comes to sell. Not too many people lining up to buy 10yr old + QP's that cost a bomb to run.
