Thats interesting I thought the 4200 had the 430 engine basically.

4200 is the trial run for the 430, and i was told it was also the ginea pig for the transmission???
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

the 430 engine is a later design, a modification of the 4200 engine. The biggest difference is that Maserati has 90 degree crank, like a yankee V8, and when in the ferrari, they use a flat plane crank, like a REAL race car....

The 4200 gearbox and operating system is closely related to 360/430, yes.

I have in stock a full shift kit for a 4200, brand new in delivery box. 95% of it is identical to 430, and much (80%) of it is like 360 also.

Dealer price over $30k....... but try ~66% off.... :thumbsup:
