I stopped being gullible on car renderings and mules a while ago so I doubt the real thing will look like this.

If it did look like that $230K is a lot of coin for something that doesn't look too dissimilar to an SLK IMO

AMG is teasing some 8 upcoming models by releasing this photograph. They have given no clues on what these cars are, but have said the A45 AMG is at the starting gate. I've never seen or met anyone from Affalterbach, but I was determined to crack this one.

In order of increasing class size-

1) A45 AMG (early 2013 debut)
2) SLC AMG (baby SLS)
3) GLA AMG (X1-like mini SUV on the MFA)
4) CLA AMG (compact sedan using the same foundation)
5) GLK AMG (based on the next gen GLK)
6) MLC AMG (coupe based on the M-Class to compete with the X6)
7) CLS Shooting Brake AMG (rumored to debut in the coming months)
S Class AMG (based on the next gen model W222)

Next Gen E Class to be released early on in 2013 from what i've heard.

It's a mid cycle update to be revealed at Detroit. New headlights, taillights, improved dash etc.

When's the new S-Class out btw?  I'm guessing Frankfurt in Sept.  Maybe Geneva?
