My uncle pranged his Muira SV during the Ferrari Car Club of Australia's last visit to The Surfers Paradise Race Track.
You will know the car,,,,,,,,
A right hand drive red with gold trim Muira SV owned in Australia........can only be one in existance.

The quote to fix the car was well over $30,000 AUD just for the parts........not to mention $12,000+ for a respray.
This was early 1980's........hence the cheap prices as quoted.

This car was never considered a write off..........never would be.
Special exotic cars of value are not written off unless owned by a barbarian.

My uncle imported all the parts himself for less than $5,000 AUD.......
With the respray etc, car fixed better than new for under $20,000 AUD.
At that time a similer Muira sold at auction in England, I think, for about 1&1/2 million dolars AUD.........
The $20,000 was not a bad investment.
Even $50,000 would have been a give in.

Real enthusiasts do not write these cars off........they fix them to BETTER than new condition.
They sometimes even improve them for no apparent reason.
