I sometimes drive Rob's previous 512BB and I can advise it is the best fun you can have with your pants on (for shortish period of time).

Visceral, engaging, direct, powerful, raw, go-kart like... did I say impossibly loud?

Noisy, hot (in summer),compromised ergonomics (much better than a Countach though).
It sounds like a 1960s F1 car...I LOVE it!
It makes me giggle like a 16 year old!

The white 512 is a simply spectacular driving experience. IMHO.

Its ripper ,very early on JA ported the heads ,put the high comp pistons in it,did away with the secondary mufflers and put a header system on it.Was always regarded as a very fast BB512 ,freak.With the big sway bars ,coils and shockers on it its a fast old beast ,before the coil played up I drove it a lot on R specs tyres ,it handled ,lot of power that car the year i went up to Sydney in it before the outside temp got to hot for me  ,Sydney side of Wodonga in 4th gear pulling like a train at 220 odd into 5th.Always reminded me of a group C sport car like a big V12 Jaguar.A very engaging car to drive fast.
