An acquaintance of mine was called for jury duty and couldn't avoid it, case was related to people smuggling, it ran for 6 weeks, QC's, interpreters, the whole shebang. The jury were discharged, the courts need to run 3 seperate cases over legal arguments that couldn't be resolved, then they will run this case again....... I hate to think what several QC's costs, let alone the rest of the circus
