big debate going in my office...

edit: to clarify, there are no traffic lights, this is just a normal 3-lane main road with a median strip, it's broken there to allow right turns into the side-street or u-turns.

usually the left lane is filled with parked cars and so the pink car has to turn into the middle lane, and the blue car will be unable to u-turn tight enough to turn into the right lane and so also turns into the middle lane.
