It's on my bucket-list to get a licence and eventually a plane, but wondering how many folk just do the flying stuff without owning an aircraft.  Thinking I should start soon and get my experience up.

yeah...i got an unrestricted private pilot's licence with constant speed and retractable endorsements.

it's useless for anything other than fun..and I had lots of it.

For once I can confirm that renting is DEFINITELY the way to go.
