Not sure how they can stop you using a pvr you own, your tv has more than 1 input and you can plug it through the foxtel decoder or vice versa

Similarly you can record foxtel, the only thing they supply now is a foxtel iq which is a pvr and decoder

Unless you are subscribing to a limited ip streaming service like the xbox or samsung tv one or perhaps the telstra tbox?
