sure.

So... how long have you owned your GT4.. and what have you spent on it over and above purchase price? You've rebuilt the engine for a start, (and all the while you're in there items) you've changed the ignition system, + tyres, servicing, repairs, etc etc....You've also sunk many hours of your own time into it to tune it and fiddle with it. What is your average yearly spend.... ??

I KNOW that it would compare unfavourably to the average 348 owners spend per year.

There won't be a huge difference worldwide, but overall, the 70's car will cost more to run than the 90's car.

Lets ask PAP how much his car costs per yer and compare shall we?

edit...

oh, and you bought a GOOD GT/4!

could you TALK any more crap?

so...why are you pushing THIS car, then?

does he owe you money or is he paying you commission?

we're talking running costs, right? if i paid 20k for that 348 and rebuilt the engine, would that make it more expensive to run than a GT4?? how ridiculous.

like i said, with equal condition, a 348 will cost heaps more than a carby 308 to run. engine out belt changes. Water pump replacements to make sure it doesn't seize and break the cam belts,  4 valves heads that need adjusting every 25000km, switches that break, electronics that stop working....etc etc etc....you're a joke!!!

even a 355 is cheaper to run than a 348...at least they have hydraulic lifters!

*shakes head*

I love my car. Buy your own
