yeah its generally 3 - 9 irons. pitching wedge, sand wedge, 1-5 woods and of course a putter.
now there are newer clubs like the fairway hybrids which are half wood half iron. and the development of "drivers" which are pretty much 1 woods, but bigger and flatter for long distance.
