Must have pretty overzealous anti-spam settings if they go there - there's usually only two links per email (to the latest post and to unsubscribe) and very little of the content should be anything which triggers an action.  I use a few layers of protection and never had to whitelist AE as far as I can remember.

I normally get them all but as far as i can tell, I have missed out on the cruise notification and helmet notification.
