Im just talking Huawei here and the 3g / 4g / ngn soft switches work ok, they just needs to be designed and installed correctly. Post sales support can be interesting so you need good contacts.

We have had issues in the past with their routers and firewalls but I suspect that's more a case of product documentation and knowledge than anything else.
