I guess that rather depends on the condition of a particular car and its service history.
Common view is to buy a car that has been driven regularly, not sitting in the garage - at least 3000 kms per year is where you want to be. Service history should be comprehensive for at least 3-5 recent years, to give you and your mechanic an idea of what has been done to the car and what may be coming up.
Another general recommendation is to buy a post 2002 car, apparently some design changes were introduced to address issues with the earlier cars.
The jury is out on the aussie delivered vs import (usually UK) cars - import cars are usually cheaper and apparently (hello PP!) harder to sell. My car is an import, I bought it in UK and had it shipped over and complied here, so my view is slightly biased by this fact :) When looking at an import car, check for oxidisation and corrosion on the bodywork and parts exposed to salt on the roads
Ferrarichat has a good write up on what to look for when buying a used 360, have a read: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/191837-faq-shopping-used-360-a.html
