Bidding was slow in places, certainly not the pace E&C maintain with the DTEI releases/auctions.

Great day, confident 911 will get a sale in next 24 hrs, have 3 parties on it. Sold 29/32 plates, with "H" and two Porsche plates passed in....H will be sold this afternoon I predict.

Will write up a decent report later, having my first food and drink for what was a busy day.

Gross results incl transfer and premium over $750 000.

It's a box on wheels, usually seen with a hat on the rear shelf and a motorcycle parked in the grill.

It will be interresting to do some in-depth analysis when full results are published.

However at first glance, it looks pretty good. For the two digit plates, it seems that from original sale in 1985 to today, the SA gain has seen comparable percentage to the equivalent gain in NSW plates from the 1983 RTA sale, even though NSW plates are a lot more valuable.

There were 10 SA plates sold in May 2010, from 451 to 949. Average price was $12100.
Today, 6 plates from 180 to 726 averaged $20625.

No a direct comparison I know, but still shows a good trend.
