There hasn't been for the last 3 or 4 years.

I do like SA "699" though....

I'll have a stab at prices

3 Digit - 17k Low 25k High

4 Digits - 10k Low to $15 High

5 Digits - $7k low to 10k High

6 Digits - $8k across the board

Now how about some educated guesses ... ???

3 Digits
SA 484 - $19-23k
SA 596 - $17-19k
SA 605 - $17-19k
SA 699 - $19-22k
SA 755 - $18-20k

4 Digits - $6-9k.....maybe $10-11k for a couple, but I doubt it :scratchchin:

5 Digits - There are a couple of nice combinations, but I will be surprised if they break the $7k barrier. If they do, the "8" plates will be the pick for those higher prices.

6 Digits - IMO, 383-383 "should" be the highest 6 digit to sell, maybe $5-6k.....great 6 digit plate & very obtainable by motor heads who won't mind paying $5-6k+ for a plate to suite their Chev perfectly! I think the average hammer price will most likely be around the $4-5k mark....maybe a touch more for a few of them.

IMO, once you get past 3 digits, the price has to come down on a lot, unless it's a good pattern.

Unless its a great number it would have to be in the 100's- low 1000's. The government tried to ban selling them and ended up in a legal minefield because they didnt stipulate that they couldnt be re-sold when they were brought out. They promoted them as an investment, which means they could be resold, otherwise what was the investment part of buying them?

The only GP plate numbers that can be sold are GP "1" - GP "199" & a few other like, GP "555", "888" etc. & also a couple of 4 digit combinations.

Are you seeing any love in the market at the moment for Black GP 3 Digits plates?

Thats what they say. My mate with a GP Plate in the 400s mentioned lawyers and they said yes sir, whatever you want sir. I believe he spoke to the Minister for Transport as well. He was the guy that didnt use the plate for over 10 years and now has it on one of his other cars.
