Evans & Clarke have been dumped????

I haven't heard anything about this.....a few decent plates. I was wondering why I recently received a few calls requesting advise on purchasing plates.

Has plate interest diminished that much in SA that no discussion of these auctions are going on? :(

I do like these 2 plates ;)

SA "918"
SA "981"

X is a letter, not a number. That's a regular custom plate.

Does any Government auction have "great" plates? There's still been discussion on those. It's just disappointing that discussion & interest has fallen over the last couple of years.

I can't help but wonder if they're releasing them to build up some interest, then release the great ones when more people are interested. :scratchchin:

Not to me of course, it looks like its an auction for standard plates, albeit white numbers of black. :p

Also am I reading that asking prices have dropped?  I thought three digits had gone into 20+ territory.

In any case is it really worth going past three digits that's not a good pattern, aside from the obvious sentimental value a certain pair of plates may have to one?  I'd rather XX premium plates over anything more than three digits.

Was it a women driving the X car? She may have got it in the divorce and he put the 'X' plate on it. :)

There is a divorced guy with a Cayenne at Gilles Plains with 'wifeles' as the plate.
