Dear Historic Plate enthusiasts and investors,
As we continue to be the leading force in the SA Historic Plate market, we are pleased to announce that over the past few weeks we have sold ten special and historic plates on behalf of our clients.
So far this calendar year we have sold almost fifty of SA’s rarest, most valuable and special 2, 3, 4, and 6 digit plates and have set several SA record sale prices.
Our plate sales in the past few weeks alone tally over $100,000, and on top of the $750,000 of plates that we auctioned, sold and settled at February’s The Great Plate Auction 2011 we are well on our way to re-selling a million dollars worth of historic plates this calendar year.
We have SA 100-054 currently available, a lovely low 6-digit plate and suitable for a Healey 100, or indeed any car.
Selling with us means you are selling with SA’s clear No1 when it comes to Historic Plates. As a valued client purchasing from us you are engaging with the only specialists in SA Historic Plates with over 25 years experience, and SA’s No 1 plate re-sellers.
This success breeds success; if you’ve been contemplating selling your rare or special Historic Plate there has never been a better time to offer your plate to our extensive database (SA’s largest) and through our website, which is the most visited site for SA plates. We are planning our next live auction event and have already listed several brilliant plates for our next The Great Plate Auction III, scheduled for December 2011.
Historicplates.com.au offers the finest vehicles through which to sell your plates, and if you’re a buyer you know we will secure the best plates to come on the market.
Finally, here’s an Easter treat for all our plate enthusiasts with our compliments.
This week I had a most enjoyable meeting with the owner of several SA Single Digit historic plates; we yarned for over four hours, talking special numbers, plate histories and everything SA Historic Plates. He was most generous in sharing his time and excitedly provided historicplates.com.au with exclusive images of his plate collection for our publication. It is to my experienced mind the finest plate collection in our state.
I spent time looking over the original light metallic blue S-Type Jaguar, that in 1966 was registered in the single digit plate SA “5” and which has been on this car ever since.
and a brilliant vintage image of this single digit collection on the homepage of www.historicplates.com.au
My client drove to our meeting in his car registered in the historic plate SA “3”. It was quite a treat for me to be in close proximity to both SA “3” and SA “5”.
Enjoy these rare images, and check back on the site often, as we continue to update our exclusive information and images in the historicplates.com.au Historic Plate Register Project, where we are documenting the current and past histories of these special pieces of SA’s motoring history.
Stay tuned for some more exciting news very soon.
We bid a safe and happy Easter to you and your families, and thank you for being a part of SA’s true number one site for Historic Plates, historicplates.com.au
