Just realised it hasn't been marked as exported from the uk. Part of the export process is to notify dvla uk.  Therefore it must be stolen...

Or on a carnet which sounds the most likely.

The only prob with bringing cars in on a carnet is putting up the LCT.

It seems that car is still driving around on the pommy plates.

Apparently was spotted today at Elizabeth shopping centre(!)

Seems a bit strange to me. Before my car was registered I drove around a bit with the pommy plates still on but always a trade plate on the back covering the pommy one. It's hard to see how they can just be driving it around like that without any dramas.
