The damn thing costs me $6k per year to keep in a lock up storage shed as I have no room left anywhere.

Next build will have room for the cars plus a workshop

Six grand a year?  You could store it at the marble palace here on Swan Street for less than that with car washes thrown in :p

I find it amazing regarding the interior condition. Mine, though not an SP has similar km's and interior still smells and looks factory. Exterior is also mint.

My road series 6 interior plastics started to go gooey at about 4 years of age. Seemed to be the same problem that plagues Ferrari interior plastics to this day.

It's a shame when a car especially one produced in such small numbers isn't looked after.

I wonder if Glen Ridge still has his SP ?
It did a few Targas; but never had a hit when I knew it.
Guy Beddington also had one from memory  :scratchchin:

That's a bit disappointing for a one owner low km car. Having said that, these were gun cars for Targa Tasmania open class in their era and with Mazda running a factory team in Targa and Nations Cup GT racing they were pretty hot. Much cheaper than the Porsche competitor as well.
There were always half a dozen or more SP's running in the later years that I did Targa so many examples out there were used hard and put away wet. Maybe this was one of them, don't know. Any idea who the first owner was?

The late Michael chatfield was the previous owner.

It was listed by his wife I was told, but no one knew anything about accident repair history.

When I inspected it it had partial finger prints in the paint work :(

What about Richmond's or the Birdwood Mill?

might give them a try

Been to birdwood lately? Your car will need a respray after it's stay there.

Richmonds do storage, but charge similar to what you're already paying.
They may be interested in putting it on the floor as display, but their floor is filling up quickly
